Vietnam Far Northeast Cycling Tour 13Days

Cycling tour to Ha Giang is customized for active in North Vietnam Cycling, adventure cyclists and those seeking an off-the-beaten path biking tour to the Vietnam far north. Begin the tour with a car transfer from Hanoi to Ha Giang town, Ha Giang province in the northern Vietnam. The drive takes about 6 hours, taking you through Tuyen Quang province. Spend one night at local home (homestay) before starting your day bicycle ride through local Tay and Dao villages. Meeting up with friendly people living far from all the busy cities. Those don’t have much time can take the overnight bus departing from Hanoi My Dinh bus station around 20:00 and arriving in Ha Giang early the following morning
This is definitely an adventurous Tour through North West Vietnam. Northeast cycling tours most roads in Vietnam are tarmaced however occasionally we would come across some uneven surfaces hence the reason we use cyclo-cross bikes with threaded road tyres or hybrid bikes. Join us on this great Asian trip in land of smiley people and experience vibrant Hanoi, cycle through really stunning landscapes and villages of ethnic minority tribes. The women wear brightly coloured skirts, tops and hats, with each ethnic group favouring its own colour variation and design. Visit Bac-Ha’s colourful Sunday market, frequented by Tay, Nung, Dao, Flower H’Mong, Giay and Phu-La tribes.
The route heads North from Hanoi into the remote northern provinces that extend to the Chinese border. This area contains some of Vietnam’s most spectacular mountain scenery and is populated by the greatest concentration of ethnic tribal groups in Asia. The route includes Ba-Be National Park, emerald lakes and waterfalls surrounded by lofty mountains. Heaven’s Gate pass, Meo-Vac valley close to China, Bac-Ha Sunday market, Sa-Pa town and market, and, finally, as an option. There will be some time at the beginning and at the end of the tour to explore Hanoi’s vibrant old town and to visit Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum.
Anyone who has traveled to Vietnam will mention three things that stood out most: the friendly people, the scenery and the food. This biking trip emphasizes all of these with sightseeing from the vantage point of the saddle. And in Vietnam, outstanding riding is the best excuse to eat!
Due to the remoteness of some of the locations you will need to be tolerant of the standard of Hotels and recognize the local customs. All Hotels have free wi-fi.
