Itinerary: Ha Noi – Hue – Hoi An – Kham Duc – Dak Glei – Ngoc Hoi – Kon Tum – Pleiku – Buon Ma Thuot – Lak Lake – Dalat – Di Linh – Mui Ne – Ho Chi Minh
The tour takes 15 days and we take time out of the saddle every three days or so to explore all the main sites along the way. We use train and boats and of course we have a fully equipped, air-conditioned support bus with us at all times so tired riders can rest in comfort whenever they wish.The tour is led by an experienced Vietnamese cycle guide. Plus we supply detailed route notes and maps so that you will enjoy maximum freedom while riding. There are no technical sections and the tour is suitable for riders of every level of experience. Some of the long rides will test experienced cyclists and due to the excellent nature of our support keen riders can happily blast off at their own pace.

Day 8: Vietnam Cycle Roadless Ngoc Hoi – Kon Tum (80km – HCM route + AH17) – Pleiku (55km – HCM route _AH17)
Day9: Vietnam Cycle Roadless Pleiku – Buon Ma Thuot (via Buon Ho) – 200km + Route 14

Day1: Arrive Ha Noi (D)
Arrive in Hanoi, met and transferred to the hotel. At leisure to discover Hanoi; Tonight we will have the tour briefing, where our tour guide will tell you all the details of the journey, and answer all your concerns. We will head out together for an evening dinner at one of the fine Vietnamese restaurants.
Day2: Hanoi city tour (B,L,D)
City tour of Hanoi with visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his stilt house and One Pillar pagoda, Temple of Literature. Afternoon exploring of Hanoi Old quarter and its shopping streets. Dinner before boarding the Reunification Express train to Hue;
Day3: Ha Noi – Hue (B,L,D)
Arrival in the ancient Imperial Capital of Vietnam.We will fit our bikes cycling along the tranquil Perfume River to the Citadel and onto the peaceful Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight in Hue;
Day4: Hue city (40km cycling) (B,L,D)
Cycling through Hue’s scenic countryside to the majestic Khai Dinh and Tu Duc Royal Tombs. Afternoon explore Dong Ba market and other attractions or rest up for the next day’s journey. Diversion can also be a countryside loop 25km with a photo stop at Thanh Toan covered bridge. Overnight in Hue;
Day5: Hue – Hoi An (100km cycling) (B,L,D) – 140km
A day ride on along the coast, lunch break at picturesque Lang Co beach. An ascent of the Hai Van Pass with stunning views, of the coast and a thrilling 7-mile descent from the top to the green rice fields around Da Nang, which we will skirt by on our way to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Hoian – Kham Duc (Phuoc Son) (B,L,D) – 130km (cycling: 60km) (route 14E+AH17)
Have breakfast at the hotel. Departure by vehicle from Hoi An World Heritage site (70 km) approximately before we get far enough out of town to start biking. You will have 60 km biking through great sections of jungle, nice landscapes and waterfalls.Lunch on the way (picnic style);After lunch continue biking to Phuoc Son with an estimated arrival at 3:00 pm.Dinner will be organized in Phuoc Son with an overnight in a comfortable local guest house.
Day 7: Kham Duc – Dak Glei (65km – route 14) – Ngoc Hoi (60km – HCM route+AH17) (B,L,D)
Breakfast at the hotel and an early departure at 7:00 am.This is the best riding day of the trip with a fantastic 80 kilometer section of deep jungle forest on both sides of the road. The ride is also very hilly and runs along the border of Ngoc Linh National Park and Ngoc Linh Mtn.(2400 meters) through the Truong Son mountain range. This is also the day that we travel along the famous Ho Chi Minh Trail.The Ba Na and Sedang minorities reside in this jungle area.Lunch along the way at a local restaurant. Biking in the afternoon to hotel in Ngoc Hoi with estimated arrival time around 4 pm.
Day 8: Ngoc Hoi – Kon Tum (80km – HCM route + AH17) – Pleiku (55km – HCM route _AH17) (B,L,D)
Departure by bike from the hotel at around 8:00 or 8:30 am.Visit a local minority village (Ba Na), a scenic suspension bridge and a traditional wooden church. Then, continue visiting Russian Tanks and Charlie Hill.Lunch along the way;Visit a “Sea Lake” on the way.Arrive at Pleiku around 4:00 pm;
Day9: Pleiku – Buon Ma Thuot (via Buon Ho) – 200km + Route 14 (B,L,D)
This day is particularly long with 110 km of biking through a fairly flat terrain of coffee and rubber tree plantations. Transport vehicle is available for those wishing to bike a shorter distance.The road wanders over rolling hills through fantastic sections of pine forest. A superb biking day. Lunch will be taken on the way (picnic style lunch on this day).Short transfer (about 45 minutes) into Buon Me Thuot, if not already done biking by this point. Overnight in hotel in heart of Buon Me Thuot town.
Day 10: Buon Ma Thuot – Lak Lake (50km) (B,L,D)
After breakfast depart on a leisurely ride to Lak Lake on mostly flat terrain (50 km biking)
Arrive in Lak Lake before lunch and check into Lak Resort Lunch at a local restaurant.In the afternoon, after a rest, head out to visit one of the old summer retreats of Emperor Bao Dai.Take a boat to a remote village on the far side of Lak Lake. Some light trekking is possible from this village. Evening free to explore.
Day11: Lak Lake – Dalat (150km + route 27) (B,L,D)
7:00 am breakfast and departure by bike right from your long house. Ride as long as possible before transferring by vehicle to the top of Phu Son pass. Picnic lunch at the top of the pass. Bike down Phu Son Pass and through rolling hills and farmland to Tanung. After biking through Tanung we have the final 17 kilometer uphill push to Dalat. Vehicle transfer for the mere mortals, and one last hammering of the legs up this beautiful jungle crested climb for the supermen.
Day12: Da Lat city (B,L) (B,L,D)
Dalat is a beautiful colonial hill-station with cooler weather and some very interesting and sites: Hang Nga crazy house, Vien Thuc Pagoda, DaLat railway station, Truc Lam pagoda and Tuyen Lam reservoir. Overnight in Da Lat.
Day13: Da Lat – Di Linh (B,L,D) – 100km
Start from Dalat and heads east through rose farms with stunning views of Lang Bian Mountain before dropping 400 meters through a jungle forested valley. We stop at Elephant Waterfall for a quick break before continuing the ride through a spectacular section of pine hills, rice paddies and small fruit orchards and vegetable farms. Up to 80 kilometers biking is possible on this day. Accommodation is arranged in Di Linh in a clean and comfortable, but basic guest house.
Day 14: Di Linh – Mui Ne(Phan Thiet) – 130km (B,L,D)
You will get over 900 meters of descent on this 90+ km ride to Mui Ne as you wind through pine and jungle forested valleys into the tropical climate below. The ride goes through small minority villages and jungle forested valleys to the beautiful beaches below. The first section of riding is through coffee plantations and forest and includes a 5 kilometer uphill climb to get you warmed up. This is followed by plenty of downhill and rolling sections. A final long downhill pass is completed before the road flattens out with a long cruise to Highway 1, where the ride ends and our vehicle transports us the rest of the way to Mui Ne (usually 30 minutes). The road is mostly paved (sealed) secondary and the support vehicle is used to transport all luggage and provisions for lunch and refreshment. The ride is also customizable in length, as the support vehicle can be used at any time by tired riders.

Day 16: Mui Ne – TP Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
Pick up and transfer to Hochiminh city for the next flight to your home.
