This Vietnam and Laos biking tours start in Hanoi and finish in Luang Prabang, the World Heritage town in Northern Laos. We cycle apporximately 475km. The road is a bit hilly but we will be able to see the beautiful and peaceful mountains of Sapa, the historical Dien Bien Phu, the Red River Delta and Hanoi. This biking tour has spectacular changing scenery as you bike. Being mostly downhill, one can concentrate on the views, far more than the pedaling. This tour includes a support vehicle, all meals and a professional guide.
The Saigon to Angkor Wat Bike Ride takes you through 500 kilometres of history, culture, and fantastic scenery. Ride past plantations, across waterways, and through villages in the lush Mekong Delta and cross to the countryside and ancient temples of Cambodia. Set out from bustling Ho Chi Minh City and travel south to where the Mekong River branches over the flat planes in to thousands of small waterways. The terrain is flat, the roads are relatively quiet, and the scenery is spectacular! For the first half of the journey, pedal from My Tho down to Chau Doc, which sits near the Cambodia border. There are endless miles of quiet backwaters and tiny roads, ancient temples and countless colourful pagodas, havens of calm and tranquillity, bustling markets and busy, bargaining vendors. The countryside is vibrant - beneath the calmness there harbours a hive of activity and work that seems unique to Vietnamese people.
Vietnam’s beautiful and tranquil capital lies at the heart of the northern Red River Delta. It is a city of lakes and leafy boulevards that still retains an air of French colonial elegance. Its fine coffee and perfect baguettes have led some to call it the ‘Paris of the East’. On arrival in Hanoi, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the old quarter. This ancient part of the city is a maze of narrow cobblestone streets each named after a trade or guild. Nowadays it is lined with tempting restaurants, guest houses, shops and cafes, but the past never seems far away. It is a charming place to either unwind or visit some its many attractions, among the most popular being the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
